A national restaurant chain known for steak would obviously celebrate National Filet Mignon Day on August 13th, right?
Wrong.
When our LongHorn team realized that August 13th also happens to be Left-Handers Day, we capitalized on a huge opportunity to pivot and do something bold and unexpected.
Living in a right-handed world isn’t easy for lefties, so we wanted to cook up a special experience just for them. With custom knifes in-restaurant, left-handed GIPHYs on social, and a dining experience especially made for lefties, we single-handedly owned the conversation. And with over 23MM views of our GIPHY stickers, we got the attention of the Shorty Awards, too.
